Continuing Professional Development

The University of Michigan has many ongoing programs and courses designed to develop the expertise of optical scientists interested in current topics of national interest.  In particular, technical courses are offered every summer by experts in various fields at locations in southeast Michigan and elsewhere.

 For example, summer courses for 2006 include:
1.  'Infrared Technology: Fundamentals for System Applications'
2.  'Advanced Infrared Technology and Sensors'
(These particular courses are to be held in Ann Arbor, MI  June 5-9, 2006.)
