Proceed directly to the guard who will issue all vehicle occupants a Special
Event entry badge, if they have made reservations.
The guard will give you directions
to the Recreation Center.
After entering Goddard turn right at the first stop
sign. onto Center Road.
Continue on Center Rd until you enter the Parking lot

lane and take the first right onto Southway into downtown Greenbelt. Continue
straight at the second stop sign at Crescent Road into a small shopping and
parking lot area. Park here. The library is visible on the left on Crescent

DIRECTIONS to the National Science Foundation Headquarters
The National Science Foundation is located in Arlington, VA at 4201 Wilson Boulevard,
across Wilson Boulevard from Ballston Common.It
can be reached by way of Glebe Road, which can be accessed from Interstate 395,
or by Wilson Boulevard, which runs through Rosslyn. The Ballston metro stop
is on N. Fairfax Drive, one block from the NSF building. The public entrances
to the building are on Stuart Street. You will need to show a picture ID (e.g.
driver's license) to enter the building. Cell phone access is poor inside the
building. Public parking is available in the Ballston public parking garage
for $8.00 per day, and at other parking lots and garages. Public parking at
Ballston is on the 4th, 5th, and 6th Garage levels. If you park there, take
the elevator to the 3rd Mall level and go through the doors into the mall. You
will be facing the Wet Seal shop. Turn left at the Wet Seal for a short distance
to the Piercing kiosk. Turn right and shortly you will encounter the overhead
walkway into the NSF building. Go through the walkway and after a short distance
you will overlook the Atrium where registration is taking place.

1. Coming from Prince Georges County or D.C. over the Woodrow Wilson Bridge: Take the first exit after crossing the W.W. bridge, getting in the third exit ramp for U.S. 1 south. After looping over the Beltway on U.S. 1, immediately get in the far right lane and enter a jughandle in order to turn left onto Fort Hunt Road (use either of the two left lanes in the jughandle). * After entering Fort Hunt Road, go straight at the next two traffic lights. Turn left into the Belleview Shopping Center just before a Texaco Gas Station located at the third traffic light. Primo Family Restaurant is at the left end of the shopping center, next to a CVS Drug Store.
2. Coming from Alexandria or Arlington on U.S. 1: Cross over the Beltway on U.S. 1, and immediately get in the far right lane and enter a jughandle in order to turn left onto Fort Hunt Road (use either of the two left lanes in the jughandle). Follow Fort Hunt Road directions starting with * in (1).
3. Coming from the west on the Outer Loop of the Beltway: Exit at U.S. 1 south. Then immediately get in the far right lane and enter a jughandle in order to turn left onto Fort Hunt Road (use either of the two left lanes in the jughandle). Follow Fort Hunt Road directions starting with * in (1).

(if in your car), or the front door (Mass. Ave. side) if you
are on foot. Park only in spaces marked "Reserved for OSA"
It is very important that you DO NOT pick up the
telephone by the front and back entrances. This phone
goes directly to security which in turn calls several OSA
staff members at their homes! Please try to carpool as
much as possible, or take the Metro, since parking is
limited. The lecture will be in the First Floor Conference
Room. The Sala Thai Restaurant is at 2016 P Street
NW directly across the street from the entrance to the
OSA garage. Note that the Dupont Circle Metro station
(Red Line) is only a couple of blocks away.

Exit the Campus toward Route 1, staying to the left as the exit road splits
at the traffic light
at the Route 1 intersection. Continue straight across Route 1 onto Paint Branch

continue on past Cpl. Frank S. Scott Drive and the restaurant will be about
