Dr. Bogdan Lita (for Vice
President):

Bogdan received his PhD in MSE at U-M in January 2002, with a thesis entitled, "Nanometer-scale Studies of Interdiffusion and Segregation in Semiconductor Structures". Bogdan was initially employed at the Optoelectronics Center of Agere Systems (Lucent Technologies), in Breinigsville, PA. He recently completed a National Research Council Postdoctoral Fellowship with the Optoelectronics Division of the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Boulder, Colorado. He is now with Zettacore, Inc.
Dr. Alan Fried (for Director at Large)

Dr. Fried is a Scientist III and head of the Analytical Photonics & Optoelectronics Laboratory at the National Center for Atmospheric Research. Alan is not new to RMOSA and served as its President in 1996/1997.

September Meeting

The first meeting in September is just
around the corner. During this meeting we will conduct the election
of RMOSA officers and directors at large. Ballots will soon be
emailed. Along with the election, we will propose amendments to the
current bylaws (more details will be posted soon). Please note,
that only members who renew or apply for a new membership will have
the privilege to vote.
