Dear RMOSA member !

As you probably have noticed, we currently have no officer serving as secretary/treasurer. The vacancy has occurred recently. Dr. Scott Spuler regrets that he was unable to commence this function due to family reasons.
The officer of secretary / treasurer is very important to maintain the operation of RMOSA, including upkeep of the e-mailing list, membership, seminar announcements, keeping the finances in order, and compile the annual report with OSA (online web-form). In addition, this officer renews RMOSA status as non-profit organization with the State of Colorado.
RMOSA officers typically serve 4 consecutive years, starting as Vice President, continuing as Secretary/Treasurer, President Elect, and President. All officers serve important functions. Perhaps, one of the most important function as President Elect, after serving one year as Secretary/Treasurer, is to organize the speakers with the help, advise, and input by the members of RMOSA as well as all officers.
Well, now its the time RMOSA needs you ! We are looking for a new volunteer for the officer as Secretary/Treasurer. Please consider this opportunity - make a difference and take RMOSA forward.
