The ballot will be posted on this site this week. <br />In addition, RMOSA is renewing their joint seminar series with the IEEE/LEOS chapter. The vacancy has occurred recently. Dr. Scott Spuler regrets that he was unable to commence this function due to family reasons.<br />The officer of secretary / treasurer is very important to maintain the operation of RMOSA, including upkeep of the e-mailing list, membership, seminar announcements, keeping the finances in order, and compile the annual report with OSA (online web-form). In addition, this officer renews RMOSA status as non-profit organization with the State of Colorado.<br />RMOSA officers typically serve 4 consecutive years, starting as Vice President, continuing as Secretary/Treasurer, President Elect, and President. All officers serve important functions. Perhaps, one of the most important function as President Elect, after serving one year as Secretary/Treasurer, is to organize the speakers with the help, advise, and input by the members of RMOSA as well as all officers.<br />Well, now its the time RMOSA needs you ! We are looking for a new volunteer for the officer as Secretary/Treasurer. Bogdan was initially employed at the Optoelectronics Center of Agere Systems (Lucent Technologies), in Breinigsville, PA. He recently completed a National Research Council Postdoctoral Fellowship with the Optoelectronics Division of the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Boulder, Colorado.
