RMOSA conducts monthly meetings and seminars presenting local, national, and international invited speakers. Members of RMOSA are also involved in several outreach efforts aiming to educate and to promote the application and knowledge of optics.
RMOSA is directed and managed by volunteer Officers and Directors at Large. Elected officers serve 1 year terms in sequential positions from Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer, President Elect, to President. A new vice presidential nominee is elected each year (usually in September). The Directors at Large serve for one year and may be reelected.
